How to Switch Back to Old Facebook Profile Page Layout

Facebook has introduced the new design for profile pages with prominent display of basic profile information, latest photos, friends list and more. However, some users may not like the new design and want to revert back to old Facebook profile page layout. Do you want really to switch back to old Facebook profile page layout design?

Well, technically you can't revert back to old Facebook profile layout as Facebook Help Center (http://facebook.com/help/?faq=19409) notes “You will not be able to switch back to the old design after upgrading”.

Though this, some users have reported that they have successfully switched back to the old layout by deactivating Facebook account for 10 - 15 minutes and then reactivate it again, you will get the old Facebook Profile Page back. I have just tried that way and it works for me. So, did it work with you?

Create Your Facebook Group Now [How to Guide]

Yesterday we reported you about the redesigned Facebook which unveiled a bunch of new features. Now we will focus specifically on the Facebook Group. With this new Facebook feature you can share music, videos and photos, in addition you can chat with all group members using a small chat box. now I will show you how to create your new Facebook Group.

Step 1: You have to visit Facebook Group page.

Step 2: Click on "Create Group".

Step 3: Pick a name to your Group, then click "Create".


Step 4: Pick an email address, group icon and control privacy of your group by clicking "Edit Group"


Step 5: Choose an icon to your group.


Step 6: Here you can control privacy of your Group content.


Step 7: Pick an email address to you Group. then click "Choose Email Address" and finally click "Save Changes"






Step 8: Click on "Profile Pictures" at left side, to pick an image to your Group.


Step 9: To share music, videos or photos, you can use the top button in your Group.

How to: Disable/Control Facebook Places

Facebook has just announced the "Place" feature yesterday, which allows you to see where are your friends and share your position with them, but this amazing feature for some of us may be annoying feature for others, so I will show you how to control or disable "Places" feature in Facebook with video and screen-shots.
Step 1:Sign in your Facebook account:
Step 2:Once you log in your account, press of Account > Privacy Settings.

 Step 3:Click on "Customize Settings"

Step 4:In the "Things I Share" section you will find "Places I check in to" , click on the button in front of it, then choose "Customize".

Step 5:You will see a pop up menu, press on the drop menu in front of "These people" , choose "Only Me" if you want to disable "Places" feature, then click "Save Setting", but if you want to hide from specified friends, you can list them in to "Hide this from", then click "Save Setting".

Step 6:In the "Things others share" , you will find something called "Friends can check me in to Places", click on the button in front of it, then choose "Disabled".
