Planetbeing, one of the iPhone Dev Team has just posted on his twitter account that it's possible to develop exploits that could work on the future and not only on the iOS 4. This Jailbreak tool may be Comex's tool "Spirit" which was updated to fix iTunes 9.2 from couple of days.
Having the iPhone 4 bootrom makes it possible to develop exploits that are immune to firmware upgrades (unlike the Spirit family of jbs)Early this week, I posted that iPhone 4 has been Jailbroken by planetbeing and we saw the first screenshot of Cydia on iPhone 4 by MuscleNerd. This jailbreak was userland but today planetbeing made it possible to develop Spirit Exploit Jailbreak for iPhone 4 and iOS 4.
